Valeria Santiago-Gonzalez

My name is Valerie Santiago-Gonzalez. Rising senior at the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras. Computer science is my major. I’m interested in computer vision, artificial intelligence, machine learning and big data. It will be an amazing experience to be able to participate in the i-Trek program because I will meet and network with new people, working with them to design and create a research project. I have done research (excellent experience) in the past, but this time will be with people from all over the country and an interdisciplinary project.
