Sirak Habtesellassie

My name is Beakal Sirak Habtesellassie, and I am a sophomore at Montgomery College in Maryland. My major is computer engineering, and my goal is to utilize the skills and knowledge that I obtain from this degree to become one of the engineers who design, build, and operate huge physics laboratories like the Large Hadron Collider. I am passionate about theoretical and particle physics, but I also make it a point to keep myself informed about news and politics around the world. I am very excited to participate in the i-Trek mini Trek because it will allow me to learn more about the world of research.
